Today sees the publication of new multi-agency safeguarding arrangements that have been developed by Safeguarding Partners in Bracknell Forest. These build on strong partnership working that has previously supported separate approaches to safeguarding children and adults. In aligning our strategic coordination for all aspects of safeguarding, we aim to further strengthen the collaboration between local partners as well as those supporting multi-agency working across the region.
The co-production of our new arrangements has been led by statutory partners and reflects the consultations undertaken with our wider partners. This new approach to safeguarding has been formally endorsed by Thames Valley Police, East Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Group and Bracknell Forest Council, with the support of its Executive Members for Children, Young People & Learning and Adult Services, Health and Housing.
